The project 1,2,3… Be Healthy! is designed to emphasize the importance of proper and healthy nutrition in childhood. For children, a balanced diet is crucial for growth, brain development, and physical function. Given the prevalence of obesity among children, the high number of children with elevated cholesterol levels, and the increasing physical inactivity, this project aims to introduce ways to incorporate healthy foods into daily diets, improving children’s habits and preventing many diseases closely linked to nutrition.
In this project, children will receive useful information about nutrients, food groups, and the role of food in improving health (reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart diseases, improving mood, reducing stress and anxiety, improving digestion and reducing indigestion, affecting cognitive abilities, etc.). Adopting healthy eating habits in youth lays the foundation for making healthy choices in adulthood.
